I have been watching a cool series on TV1 called "Lexx" and I have to say that this is one cool Sci-Fi show. The _huge_ flying bug spaceship and the dead Brunnen G warrior Kai combine to make one cool show indeed. Where the series is up to now, The crew of the Lexx, minus 790 are stuck on the planet Fire and have to find a way off. The Planet has oceans of red hot rock and Kai can just walk across it without harm. Lucky barstard. He must have asbestos boots :)

I have uploaded a Linux Pocketbook to my /maps dir. This is the Advanced Linux Pocketbook 2003 edition, and well worth the download. You can get it Linux Pocketbook 2003 (PDF) This file is about 4.5MB in size, so will be quite a download, but it is worth it. This e-book has tons of information on getting Linux working on your PC. You will need Adobe acrobat Reader to view this file.

Well, I have started classes at TAFE in IT Cert II and I have to say that I will enjoy the last couple of subjects we have in our class. The computers we have to use in the Cert IV labs are pretty alright, but have crap fishbowl monitors connected. I mean the students that do that course must be able to put up with using such a crap visual display unit but I prefer a good 17" Monitor.

Some people have no class. 14" Monitors should be shot into the sun. Give me a 21" monitor anyday! But in other news, the anti-Microsoft site at enemy.org has shut down. I loved this site and the news that it has been shut down has saddened me. But I guess this is the price of progress.

Here is a cool posting on the PC Powerplay Forums. Linux on Laptops. This post is asking about running Linux on a IBM Thinkpad. I am very curious about this.
